In this study, fouling mechanisms of PVC/PC blend membranes were studied. The membranes were fabricated via non-solvent induced phase separation method with different PC contents. The flux-time behavior of fabricated membranes were analyzed during 240 min ultrafiltration process of 1.0 wt.% BSA solution. The governing fouling mechanisms were determined using classic as well as combined fouling models and the results showed that none of the classic models were capable to fit the experimental data for fabricated membranes, however the fouling behavior of membranes was well-fitted using combined fouling models.
