Transys ver.17 simulation have used for prediction of water thermal efficiency, CuO, Cu and 𝐴𝑙2𝑂3 nanofluids in a flat plate solar collector. To investigate the effect of different parameters and operating condition, on thermal efficiency and exergy efficiency, various mass flow rate and area of collector have examined in the solar collectors. Gambit 2.4.6 has used for CFD calculation and it has been solved by Fluent ver.17.2. This research used a model to numerically simulate the heat transfer performance inside the tubes in terms of nusselt number to compare the efficiency of the collector by using different nanofluid. The governing equations and corresponding boundary conditions have converted to dimensionless form and have solved numerically by the finite element method. The results shown that efficiency of Cu is 67% and it’s greater than 𝐴𝑙2𝑂3 and CuO efficiency, while the exergy efficiency of 𝐴𝑙2𝑂3 is greater.
