چكيده لاتين :
In order to study the effect of cultivation of mungbean additive intercropping on yield and yield
components of maize S.C 704 an experiment was conducted based on randomized complete block
design with six treatments and four replications in Dezful region during the summer of 2018.
Experimental treatments consisted of different additive intercropping of maize-mungbean
intercropping (adding 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% of optimum density of mungbean to optimum
maize density) and a pure stand of maize (control). The results showed that the effect of different cornmungbean
intercropping treatments had significant effect on yield and yield components of corn
(except for grain number per ear). According to the results, the highest grain yield (8839 kg.ha-1) and
biological yield (19970 kg.ha-1) were related to additive intercropping treatment of maize+40%
mungbean. This was due to the effect of increasing number of grains per row and 1000-grain weight of
the above treatments compared to the other treatments. Finally, it can be concluded that the presence
of mung bean had positive effects on maize, which may be one of the main reasons for nitrogen
fixation by the roots of mungbean.
