Electrophoretic display has recently achieved a lot of attention due to its low cost, low weight, low power consumption and reliability. It has proven to be a great replacement for conventional papers. Electrophoretic displays have been called non-emitting display based on light particle suspensions and the migration of charged particles in a dielectric fluid through the electrode to the opposite charge. Electrical and optical properties of electrophoretic displays suspension composition are dependent on the electronic ink. Thus, key factors in determining image quality will depend on electrophoretic properties of nano or micro particles. Nevertheless black–white electrophoretic display products have been commercialized, nowadays colored electrophoretic displays is developing due to the need for full-color displays; therefore, preparation of the colored electrophoretic particles for electrophoretic display appears to be attractive.
