The viscous flow induced sintering process was simulated by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Thefinite volume method (FVM) along with the volume of fluid (VOF) technique wasapplied to simulate this process for different lengths of the chains. The method was validated for two-particle sintering system with the data derived fromthe literature. According to the results, increasing number of particles led to a decrease in local bridge growth rate and to delay of reaching to equilibrium state. Current findings are useful in predicting caking phenomenon frequntly occued in powder industries
