One of the important aims in ssu uitable seismic design of structures is estimating non-liners rre eal lateral displacement induced by seve erree earthquake. In seismic damage provisions, the maximum sstory drift occurring in major earthquakes iis estimated by amplifying the drifts computed from an elastic c aanalysis at the prescribed design seismicc force level with a deflection amplification factor. Accordidingly, it’s necessary to consider to deflecttiio on amplification factor in concrete structures. The aim of this rresearch is to estimate the deflection ampliiffication factor in the structures having resistant system againstt the lateral load of concrete bending framee with middle ductility. In this paper, by usage of the capacit ty y spectrum method (ATC-40) for five reinnfforced concrete structural models (2, 4, 6, 10, 15 stories) witthh 3 meters height in each story and orde erreed plan, the deflection amplification factor is determined.
