Here we observed effect of number of people and exit width on emergency evacuation time by simulation using distinct element method DEM human body is modeled as a circular element in DEM analysis can compute the position of each person step by step by solving the equation of motion as a study case we considered tabriz seghatol islam mosque we considered two series of simulations with different exits width 1.4 m for series 1 and 2.8 m for series 2. for each series we did the simulation in 4 cases in which number of people were 690 , 920,1150 and 1380 for cases 1to 4 respectively.
