Increasing production has led to an increase investment in all industries. Therefore, preventative maintenance is very important. In the following paper, you will find that preventive maintenance, in addition to reducing downtime and increasing the safety factor of equipment and machinery throughout the supply chain, can significantly improve the product quality and reduce downtimes. In this article, we used the vibration analysis technique which is one of the most important and effective maintenance methods to detecting machine defects and condition monitoring of the equipment. First, time signal of accelerations from each device was extracted with field tests. In experimental work, acceleration was measured in 3 directions (Horizontal, Vertical, Axial). Then, using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), frequency signals were produced and the vibration analysis technique was used to detect various defects. Undoubtedly, the power generation industry is one of the most important industries in the world. In this paper, Equipment from the Bistoon Power Plants such as sand filter, pump, and fan were monitored and defects such as unbalance, bearing defects were obtained through vibration analysis. To fix the defects, a report and corrective actions were provided, and in the final results, some solutions were suggested to reduce and eliminate defects.
