Saponin oil (Essential oil of Zizipus spina cristi ) was extracted from seder plant leaves by using supercritical carbon dioxide in an extractor.The affections of temperature, pressure, particles size and gas flow rate on oil yield was investigated and the best thermodynamic properties based on quality and quantity of essential oil were obtained. The modeling based on vander waals mixing rules was done by using three kinds of equations of state (VW, RK, PR). According this research it was illustrated that peng robinson equation of state had better accuracy with experimental data. Also for better efficiency in operation of extraction the pressure of extraction and separation apparatus were reported 102 and 22 bar respectively.
