Liquid-liquid equilibrium data were measured for two ternary systems containing aqueous propionic acid and organic solvent (toluene and p.xylene) at 303.2 K and atmospheric pressure. Phase diagrams were obtained by determining tielines data. The tie-lines data were compared with the results calculated by the UNIQUAC and the NRTL methods.
