Turbulent flow field in a 200 m3 industrial suspension polymerization reactor, which is a baffled agitated vessel, was
simulated using CFD. It was found that turbulent flow field in reactor is non-homogenous, especially among three zones
of reactor, around the impeller blade (impeller zone), around the baffles (baffle zone) and bulk of fluid flow (circulation
zone). TKE dissipation rate increases with increasing agitation rate in three zones with smaller slope in circulation zone.
