Polyaniline/Poly(vinyl acetate) (PAn/PVAc) copolymer was prepared in the aqueous/non-aqueous media by using
mixture of KIO3 and (NH4)2S2O8 as an oxidant in the presence of various stabilizers such as sodium
dodecylbenzenesulfonate, poly(vinyl alcohol) and hydroxypropylcellulose. The products were characterized in terms of
conductivity, morphology, yield, particle size and chemical structure. The results indicate that the surface morphology,
yield, particle size and conductivity of product are dependent on the type of surfactant. Also, the chemical structure of
obtained product was determined by FTIR spectroscopy.
