By simultaneous solution of the population balance equations for living and dead polymer chains coupled
with the method of moments and heat and mass transfer equations at micro- and macroparticle levels in
multigrain model, the particle growth, PDI, average molecular weights and concentration of reactants in a
semi-batch gas phase ethylene polymerization reactor as a function of time have been predicted. The
effect of variation of the concentration of site types 1 and 2 in a two-site Ziegler-Natta catalyst has been
discussed .
