Today materials that combine polymer and inorganic components in a way that enhances luminescence and flexibility are becoming more attractive research topics for researchers; For example, the development of novel mixed oxide nanocomposites with heterostructures and unique features is desirable for flexible displays light-emitting optoelectronic devices. This study used a cost-effective method to make a cerium doped zinc oxide/cadmium tungstate (ZnO/CdWO4: Ce) nanocomposite. The structural and optical properties of prepared samples were studied using a variety of methods. The ionoluminescence experiments examined the ionization radiation responses of ZnO/CdWO4: Ce nanocomposites. Synthesized Nanocomposite displayed significant emission in the blue-green region and outstanding photosensitivity at ambient temperature. Prepared nanoparticles have an average diameter of 170 nanometers. The existence of ZnO, CdWO4, chemical bindings, and associated components in the composites was confirmed by XRD and EDX results. Obtain results showed that the produced nanocomposite is likely to have promising applications in optoelectronic devices.
