The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of the Fenton oxidation process in Ciprofloxacin antibiotic removal by designing experiments. The effect of hydrogen peroxide, ferrous sulfate, contact time, Ciprofloxacin concentration and pH on response performance investigated. Analysis of variance was applied. The experimental values agreed with those predicted, thus indicating the suitability of the used model and the success of RSM in optimizing the removal conditions of Ciprofloxacin. Based on this optimization, maximum yield was achieved at pH=5, t= 45min, the concentration of Ciprofloxacin= 10g/l, H_2 O_2=11.8mL and amount of〖 Fe〗^(2+)=3.6 Mm. The determination of coefficient R^2= 98.87% also was high, which means the experimental data was acceptable.
