On the Extended Marshall-Olkin-Nadarajah Family of Distributions

Marshall and Olkin (1997) introduced a family of distributions that are obtained by adding a parameter to other distributions. Santos-Neto et al. (2014) conducted a study on the family of generalized Weibull distributions . In 2012, Nadarajah and his colleagues complemented Marshall and Olkin’s work by adding two parameters to the distribution. In this paper, the families of generalized two-parameter Weibull distributions have been studied and various issues such as survival function, hazard function, incomplete moments, Renyi and Shannon entropies, and Bayesian statistics under some error loss functions are presented. Finally, a simulation study is presented.
