This paper considers constant stress accelerated life test and proposes semiparametric modeling for relating lifetime characteristic and accelerated stresses. Based on a progressive type-II censoring scheme, a maximum penalized likelihood estimation method is used for estimating the model parameters. A simulation study and a real data set analysis are carried out to demonstrate the performance of the proposed model.
