The importance of simulation in other sciences is so clear that it has become a practical thing. In the transportation industry, due to the importance of time, fuel, and cost management, simulation methods are widely used. In this paper, the role and importance of simulation are illustrated by presenting the performance framework of the transportation industry. Finally, with an example, the application of simulation and statistical viewpoint of this industry is shown.
