The goal of this study is to develop a third-order EXP-WENO-P (EWP3) scheme for solving Hamilton-Jacobi (HJ) equations using the finite difference method. The performance and reliability of EWP3 are evaluated by comparing its numerical results to those obtained using the classical WENO method proposed by Jiang and Peng for HJ equations. The comparison highlights the superior efficiency and robustness of EWP3.
