The notion of central symmetric ring is a generalization of symmetric ring. In this note, we investigate conditions under which the power series ring over a central symmetric ring is a symmetric ring. Also, we show that in a ring R the concepts of right (left) duo, abelian, symmetric and central symmetric are coincide, if R is a von Neumann ring.
