Let G be a graph. The energy of a graph G, denoted by E(G), is the sum of the absolute values of all eigenvalues of G. The Sombor index of graph G is defined as ∑_(uv ϵE(G))√(d_u^2+d_v^2 ), where du and dv are the degrees of vertices u and v in G, respectively. In this paper, we present an upper bound for E(G) in terms of Sombor index of G.
