Let R be a commutative Noetherian ring and M be afinitely generated R-module. In this paper, we study the propertiesof some modules called approximately Cohen-Macaulay modules.Specially we investigate the behavior of these modules under faithfulflat extensions. It is seen that the concept of approximatelyCohen-Macaulay can easily be extensible for M[x] and M[[x]].
