Increasing the demand for energy besides decreasing the exploration of the new hydrocarbon reservoirs have pushed scientists to employ enhanced oil recovery (EOR) methods. In this field of study, the combination of polymer and nanoparticles (NPs) is one of the most important operations that can have a dual effect on both microscopic and macroscopic sweep efficiencies. D118 as associative polymer and graphene quantum dot were utilized to provide a NPs-polymer solution and according to the results, the sample has greater resistance at high salinities than low salinities, and the presence of NPs owing to crosslinking has good rheological characteristics in temperature fluctuations and high temperatures.
