كشور ما ايران با اقليم چهار فصل و شرايط آب و هوايي كه قابليت كشت انواع گونه هاي دارويي شناخته شده در دنيا را داراست مي-تواند در ايجاد صنايع تبديلي گياهان دارويي پيشگام باشد و با كشت انبوه گياهان دارويي بستر ايجاد صنايع تبديلي را فراهم نمايد. با وجود نيروي كار جوان و جوياي كار فارغ التحصيل بخش كشاورزي در كشور پتانسيل توليد انبوه بسياري از گياهان دارويي در منطقه وجود دارد. با وجود چنين بازار پر رونقي، بررسي مصرف گياهان دارويي در سطح كشور و نيز امكان صدور محصولات گياهان دارويي به خارج از كشور زمينه سازي جهت كشت انبوه گياهان دارويي و صنايع بسته بندي و عرضه بهداشتي محصولات گياهي در كشور امري منطقي واقتصادي به نظر مي‌رسد. برنامه ريزي جامع براي گياهان دارويي مي‌تواند علاوه بر دستيابي به مديريت توسعه پايدار در اين بخش بالأخص در ابعاد كلان توسعه اقتصادي -زيست محيطي، اشتغال، امنيت غذايي در عرصه ملي و بين المللي به عنوان يك منبع درآمد براي كشور محسوب گردد. به عبارتي وجود برنامه اي جامع وهماهنگي بين مراكز مختلف تحقيقاتي، آموزشي و اجرايي و همچنين وجود اعتبار لازم در اين امر مي‌تواند راهگشاي توسعه در گياهان دارويي در كشور باشد‬. صنايع تبديلي گياهان دارويي مي تواند در زمينه مواد بهداشتي و آرايشي و يا داروهاي تركيبي كه از عصاره گياهان دارويي به وجود مي آيند باشد. در هر كدام از اين عرصه ها شركت هاي دانش بنيان مي‌توانند حضور اثربخش و قابل قبولي داشته باشند و از تركيب تاثيرات هر گياه با دانش روز دنيا داروهايي توليد كنند كه جايگزين مناسب و بي ضرري براي داروهاي شيميايي باشد. از آنجايي كه داروهاي شيميايي علاوه بر درمان بيماري مدنظر به بافت ها و اندام هاي ديگر آسيب مي رساند اين عارضه در داروهايي كه منشاء طبيعي و گياهي دارند بسيار كم است و اين داروها با طبيعت جسم انسان سازگارترند. اين قابليت نقطه قوت تبديل گياهان داروي به داروهايي اثربخش و پرفروش در عرصه بين‌المللي مي‌باشد كه ضرورت تحقيق و اقدام عملي در اين عرصه را جهت بهبود فضاي كسب وكار كشور بيان مي‌كند.‬

In other words, the existence of a comprehensive program and coordination between different research, educational and executive centers, as well as the existence of the necessary credit in this matter, can open the way for the development of medicinal plants in the country. Medicinal plant transformation industries can be in the field of health and cosmetic products or combined medicines that are created from the extracts of medicinal plants. In each of these fields, knowledge-based companies can have an effective and acceptable presence and combine the effects of each plant with modern knowledge to produce drugs that are suitable and harmless alternatives to chemical drugs. Since chemical drugs, in addition to treating the disease in question, damage other tissues and organs, this complication is very rare in drugs of natural and herbal origin, and these drugs are more compatible with the nature of the human body. This ability is the strong point of transforming medicinal plants into effective and best-selling drugs in the international arena, which shows the necessity of research and practical action in this field to improve the business environment of the country.
