In lithium ion batteries, choosing a suitable electrode material directly affects its performance. The Li4Ti5O12 spinel is an interactive lithium ion compound (or host of lithium ion) with a high lithium insertion/deinsertion voltage of approximately 1.55 volts, a much higher potential is required for solid electrolyte interphase (SEI) formation than organic electrolyte depletion. This compound is used as a negative electrode in lithium ion batteries. In present work, we will study the electrochemical characteristics of modified Li4Ti5O12 have been studied. The synthesized Li4Ti5O12 nonostructure will verified by X-ray diffraction and Raman scattering spectroscopy and its morphology will studied by SEM. Then by using electrochemical charge and discharge tests, cyclic voltammetry and their performances in lithium-ion batteries will examined and Finally, its electrochemical conductivity is investigated using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy Research method: 1) Preparation of half-cell lithium ion battery based on LTO and optimized LTO as anode and lithium metal as cathode. 2) Evaluation of the battery performance with each of the components: analysis of different parameters such as the half-cell capacity in the cycle, cyclability, rate capability, evaluation of the structure change and anode surface after several cycles using SEM imaging, Investigation of conductivity changes by impedance measurement spectroscopy.
