The kinetics of aliphatic pincer ligand based on SNS (bis(2-(µ1- sulfanyl)ethyl)amine) has been studied by utilizing DFT calculation in the gas phase. The reaction between bis(2- chloroethyl)amine and different thiols has followed with SN2 mechanism.
