The aim of this work was to study the physicochemical characterization of fenofibrate(FNB)-ßCD binary systems was carried out by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) and 1HNMR. Phase solubility analysis revealed enhancement in the solubility of fenofibrate. Phase solubility studies revealed 1:1 M complexation of fenofibrate with ßCD. The dissolution study revealed that the drug dissolution rate was improved by the presence of ßCD.
