In this study, Mg-3Zn-xZr powders were produced using high energy ball milling under argon atmosphere. The aim this work were to study the effect of milling time (2.5, 5, 7.5 and 10 h) and Zr content (0, 0.5, 1, 2, and 3) on the crystallographic features and microstructure. X-Ray diffraction (XRD) was used to investigate phase analysis of various milled powders. Also, the morphology and microstructure of different samples were investigated by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The lattice features of composite-powders were thoroughly characterized by Rietveld method. Furthermore, mechanical properties of samples with different amount Zr as well as milling time were studied.
