This research investigates the Cu-Al-Ni-Ti-Nb-B high-temperature shape memory alloy (HTSMA). The alloy s composition and microstructure were analyzed, revealing the presence of an orthorhombic 18R structure and a Ti-rich second phase. Calorimetric experiments determined transformation temperatures, with As and Af at 181℃ and 207℃ for the austenitic phase during heating, and Ms and Mf at 200℃ and 189℃ for the martensitic phase during cooling. The alloy exhibited improved mechanical properties, with a tensile strength of 1574 MPa and 5.5% elongation, attributed to grain and martensite refinement and the presence of niobium-based particles.
