    In the context of synergistic separation between Zn and Cd employing bi{D2EHPA+TBP}-functionalized superparamagnetic nanoadsorbents, this study aims to discover the stoichiometry of adsorptions (nD2EHPA, mTBP) and propose the structure of the organometallic complexes. Based on the slope analysis method, the stoichiometric coefficients for Zn adsorption with nanoadsorbents of various D2EHPA:TBP ratios are (3, 0.5) to form R2Zn*HR*(TBP)0.5 and (3, 1) to form R2Zn*HR*TBP complexes. Conversely, the mentioned nanoadsorbents adsorb Cd in the form of R2Cd*(HR)3*TBP and R2Cd*(HR)2*(TBP)2 complexes with stoichiometric coefficients of (5, 1) and (4, 2), respectively.
