Post weld heat treatment (PWHT) is a necessary method in the welded pressure vessels to increase the mechanical/metallurgical properties. In the current investigation, creep buckling analysis of a vertical pressure vessel made of SA-516 G70 during local post weld heat treatment at 650℃ by isochronous stress strain curve obtained by Omega method based on API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 is presented.
