Camelina with scientific name of Camelina Sativa (L.) Crantz is a member of Brassicaceae family. This crop is cultivated in many regions of the world. Using this crop that has high resistance to biotic and non-biotic stress is considered vital when climate trend and weather condition (drought) took into consideration in the last few years. Seven samples were collected from seven region’s field including Shiravan, Fasa, Marvdasht, Kermanshah, Hamedan, Sabzevar, and Ilam, then assessment of Camelina seed vigour and germination tests were conducted based on completely randomized design with three replications in Seed and Plant Certification and Registration Institute of Karaj. Different germination indices including final germination percentage (FGP), mean germination time (MGT), Coefficient of velocity of germination (CVG), germination rate (R50), germination uniformity (GU), and time duration to reach 10, 50, 90 germination percentage (D10, D50, D90), radicle length, shoot length, seedling length, seedling weight, and also length and weight vigour were analyzed. Results revealed that seed samples derived from all fields were in perfect condition according to germination percentage and seed vigour. Therefore, proper growth and development was observed in all fields according to optimal physiological responses. However, seven Camelina seed samples showed significant difference at 5% level in all evaluated indices in terms of three indices of germination rate and time duration to reach 10 and 50 germination percentage. The Fasa, Marvdasht, and Ilam seed samples had the highest germination rate or the least time duration to reach 10 and 50 germination percent. Also, the least recorded amount of these three indices among seed samples belonged to Kermanshah and Hamden.
