معناشناسي واژه هاي قرآن كريم يكي از راه هاي كشف معاني كلمات و عبارات در قرآن كريم است كه با تكيه بر نظريه هاي معناشناسي شناختي صورت مي گيرد. اين مهم يكي از محورهاي پژوهش هاي قرآني به شمار مي رود. در ميان واژگان قرآن، يكي از واژه هاي كم كاربرد، امّا با اهميّت از حيث معناشناسي، واژﮤ عقيم است كه بسامد آن در 3 سوره قرآن كريم، 4 بار است. پژوهش حاضر كه روش پردازش توصيفي– تحليلي و با استناد به منابع كتابخانه اي و تحليل داده ها و با رويكرد معناشناسي شناختي انجام شده، درصدد تبيين اين مسأله است كه مطابق آيات قرآني، واژﮤ عقيم به چه وجوه معنايي در بافت قرآن به كار رفته و كدام واژگان با «عقيم» بر محور همنشيني داراي رابطۀ معنايي يا تقابل معنايي اند؟ يافته هاي حاصل از اين پژوهش كه مبتني بر بررسي پيشينۀ اين واژه در عصر نزول و بافت قرآن كريم است، حكايت از آن دارد كه كانون ارتباط اين واژه، بين مردان و زنان مشترك است و از مشهورترين معاني آن نازا بودن و بارور نشدن زن، بي خير و هلاكت آفرين بودن و سختي و تنگناي شديد در روز قيامت است. از همين رو به مردي كه نتواند فرزندي داشته باشد عقيم گفته مي شود. در روايات نيز از اين واژه به وجود يك شرّ در زنان و نبودن خوشخويي و صفت نيكو و بادهايي كه فاقد رحمت و دربردارندۀ عذاب الهي هستند ياد شده است. بنابراين اين كلمه براي انسان و غير انسان، كاربرد دارد.

Abstract The semantics of the words of the Holy Quran is one of the ways to discover the meanings of words and phrases in the Holy Quran, which is based on the theories of cognitive semantics. This is considered one of the axes of Quranic research. Among the words of the Qur an, one of the least used words, but with importance in terms of semantics, is the word ,, ????,, whose frequency is 4 times in the Three surahs of the Holy Qur an. The current research, which was carried out by the method of descriptive-analytical processing and with reference to library sources and data analysis, and with a cognitive semantics approach, tries to explain the issue that according to the Qur anic verses, the word barren is used in the context of the Qur an. And which words have a semantic relationship or opposite meaning with barren on the coexistence axis? The findings of this research, which is based on the investigation of the background of this word in the era of revelation and the context of the Holy Quran, indicate that the center of communication of this word is common between men and women, and one of its most famous meanings is barrenness and the inability of a woman to be fertile. Being without good and causing destruction, and severe hardship and distress on the Day of Judgment. Therefore, a man who cannot have a child is called barren. In the hadiths, this word is also mentioned as the existence of an evil in women and the absence of cheerfulness and good qualities, and the winds that lack mercy and contain divine punishment. Therefore, this word is used for humans and non-humans.
