Introduction: Diverse processes in different regions create unique perspectives and aesthetic experiences. These processes define the identity of a place, a crucial factor for smart tourism evaluation. Methodology: This applied research used a descriptive and analytical approach, utilizing climatic, topographic, geological maps, and a Digital Elevation Model (DEM) within Geographic Information System (GIS) software. Results: Earth s regions have distinct geological and geomorphic histories. In the Lut Basin, elevations range from 105 to 4460 meters, with geological features like alluvial deposits, conglomerates, and volcanic formations. At end of study, Smart tourism potential is discussed, incorporating big data technology. Conclusion: The Lut Basin, with its unique geological processes, offers diverse and visually stunning landforms shaped by aquatic, wind-driven, and volcanic forces. Its 4,350-meter elevation range allows a journey from cool highlands to the world s hottest point. These captivating landforms make it a top global tourist destination and provide a foundation for smart tourism growth. Leveraging big data enhances the visitor experience and supports sustainable desert conservation.
