In this study, the test results of full-scale mechanically ‎stabilized earth (MSE) walls are compared with the ‎results of 2D ‎numerical analysis. In the first part of the test, the roller ‎compactor as the dynamic load is ‎applied. In the second part, the behaviour of ‎full-scale MSE walls is studied under the strip footing load ‎ considering the preloading effects of the roller compactor. For the ‎MSE wall, the compaction load increased the lateral earth pressure ‎resulting in a pre-stressed condition on ‎reinforcement layers and ‎consequently reducing the wall deflection specially, after applying the strip ‎footing load.‎
