بررسي تأثير خودشيفتگي مديرعامل بر سرمايه گذاري هاي جاري شركت با نقش تعديلي ويژگي هاي هيأت مديره

Investigating the effect of the CEO s narcissism on the company s current investments with the moderating role of the board s characteristics

امروزه بهينه بودن سرمايه‎ گذاري جاري شركت از اهميت بسيار زيادي برخوردار است. هيأت مديره شركت‌ها در پي اين هستند، با تأثيرگذاري بر سوگيري‌هاي رفتاري مديرعامل مانند خودشيفتگي، مسير سرمايه‌گذاري جاري شركت را به درستي هدايت نمايند. هدف كلي اين پژوهش بررسي تأثير خودشيفتگي مديرعامل بر سرمايه‌گذاري جاري شركت با نقش تعديلي ويژگي‌هاي هيأت ‌مديره است. اين پژوهش به لحاظ هدف، كاربردي و از نظر ماهيت، يك پژوهش توصيفي است. نمونه آماري پژوهش شامل 143 شركت‌ پذيرفته شده در بورس اوراق بهادار تهران، براي بازه زماني 8ساله از سال هاي 1391 تا 1398بوده است. نتايج حاصل از تجزيه و تحليل فرضيه‌هاي تحقيق از روش رگرسيون تركيبي و رگرسيون لجستيك با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اقتصادسنجي EViews10 نشان داد كه خودشيفتگي مديرعامل تأثير مثبت و معناداري بر سرمايه‌گذاري جاري شركت دارد. يافته هاي پژوهش نشان مي دهد متغير ويژگي هاي هيأت مديره شامل استقلال و تخصص و تنوع جنسي هيأت مديره باعث تعديل رابطه خودشيفتگي مديرعامل بر استراتژي سرمايه گذاري جاري شركت نمي شود.

Today, the optimality of the company s current investment is very important. The board of directors of the companies are trying to guide the current investment path of the company by influencing the CEO s behavioral biases such as narcissism. The general purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of the CEO s narcissism on the current investment of the company with the moderating role of the characteristics of the board of directors. In terms of purpose, this research is applied and in terms of nature, it is a descriptive research. The statistical sample of the research included 143 companies admitted to the Tehran Stock Exchange for a period of 8 years from 1391 to 1398. The results of the analysis of the research hypotheses from the combined regression method and logistic regression using EViews10 econometric software showed that the CEO s narcissism has a positive and significant effect on the company s current investment. The findings of the research show that the variable characteristics of the board of directors, including independence and expertise, and the gender diversity of the board of directors, do not moderate the relationship between the CEO s narcissism and the company s current investment strategy.
