هدف: در نظام آموزشي ايران، مدرسه در خانه مراحل ابتدايي خود را پشت سر مي گذارد. در حال حاضر ابعاد استفاده از اين رويكرد ابهامات زيادي دارد. در اين مقاله، مفهوم و جايگاه مدرسه در خانه؛ وكاربرد‌ و ضرورت آن در كشور ايران وسايركشورها موردبررسي قرار گرفت. معيار انتخاب اين مطالعات، بررسي موضوعات فوق، طي سال هاي ۲۰۱۸۱۹۷۶ براي اسناد خارجي و -۱۳۷۹ ۱۳۹۴ در آثار داخلي بود روش: براي دستيابي به اين تبيين، با استفاده از روش سنتز پژوهي، جمعأ تعداد ۸۳ پژوهش با روشي نظام مند انتخاب، واكاوي محتوايي و دسته بندي شدند. سپس تركيبي از يافته ها طبق اصول تلفيق، بازانديشي و بازآرايي داده ها، ارائه شد. در پايان هر بخش نيز، تجميع يافته ها و نتيجه گيري كلي، در صورت ضرورت ارائه شده است. يافته ها: نتايج نشان داد كه به دو دليل، فقدان اين رويكرد در نظام آموزشي ايران، يك خط آموزشي به شمار مي آيد؛ كه عبارتند از: الف) دلايل ايدئولوژيك شامل: ۱. تضاد ارزش هاي اجتماعي خانه و مدرسه ۲. تضاد ارزش هاي ديني خانه و مدرسه. ب) دلايل پداگوژيك شامل: ۱. نمره گرايي ۲. بازماندگي از تحصيل3. ترك تحصيل ۴. نظام تنبيه در مدارس ۵. تكليف محوري مدارس
