Turbocharger is used in many engines to increase engine power and reduce fuel consumption. By compressing the air, this equipment prepares it for mixing with fuel. The rotation of the blades in different working cycles of the engine and air compression causes the noise of this equipment. This noise is the cause of annoyance for passengers and drivers of cars, industrial equipment workers and people exposed to noise in general. By placing a device before the entry of the turbocharger compressor, it is possible to prevent the creation of high noise from this device. This equipment is called an inlet duct, and by improving the geometry of this inlet duct by applying various restrictions, it is possible to design and produce a suitable inlet duct. In this paper, by placing a geometry at the inlet of the compressor and aeroacoustics analysis instead of vibration analysis, the production noise of any new geometry is obtained. The great achievement of this study is the reduction of Sound Pressure Level (SPL) by 20 decibels, which has achieved a 4-fold noise reduction in practice. In similar researches, researchers were able to achieve reductions of up to 9 decibels by building and analyzing a simulated model of the geometry of the compressor blades. The results of the research conducted in this research case can be used in industry, business and science to reduce the time of performance and energy consumption which indicats 22% increase in the percentage variation of noise and improvement of sound reduction.
