سرمايه دانشي در صنايع همواره به‌عنوان يك سند تضميني در برابر شرايط پرتلاطم محيط صنعت عمل كرده و سازمان‌ها توانسته‌اند به‌وسيله كاربرد صحيح آن در فرايندهاي سازماني خود، نه تنها عامل بقاي خود را حفظ كرده باشند بلكه يك مزيت رقابتي را نيز تصاحب كنند. در همين راستا مهندسي و مديريت دانش يكي از مهم‌ترين عوامل موفقيت شركت‌ها در شرايط رقابتي و عصر اطلاعات است. اهميت و ضرورت اين موضوع در پروژه هاي صنعت پتروشيمي كه ماهيتي تخصصي دارد دو چندان است لذا در اين مقاله به بيان اهميت مديريت دانش در صنعت پتروشيمي مي‌پردازيم. روش انجام اين پژوهش اسنادي و كتابخانه‌اي مي باشد. باتوجه به بررسي‌هاي انجام شده، سرمايه‌گذاري روي مهندسي دانش در صنعت پتروشيمي به منظور تسريع بهره‌گيري از نوآوري‌ها و افزايش دانش افراد امري مهم و ضروري است و مديريت دانش، نقشي اساسي در ايجاد و حفظ مزيت رقابتي در صنعت پتروشيمي ايفا مي‌كند. همچنين شركت‌هاي پتروشيمي بايد هر ساله بودجه‌اي را براي فعاليت‌هاي تحقيق و توسعه در زمينه مهندسي و مديريت دانش اختصاص دهند.

Knowledge capital in industries has always acted as a guarantee document against the turbulent conditions of the industry environment and organizations have been able to not only maintain their survival but also acquire a competitive advantage through its correct application in their organizational processes. In this regard, engineering and knowledge management is one of the most important factors for the success of companies in competitive conditions and the information age. The importance and necessity of this topic in the projects of the petrochemical industry, which has a specialized nature, is twofold, therefore, in this article, we will express the importance of knowledge management in the petrochemical industry. . This research is descriptive and from the point of view of the purpose of the research, it is of applied type. The research method is based on the method of data collection, descriptive and library type. According to the studies, investing in knowledge engineering in the petrochemical industry in order to accelerate the use of innovations and increase people s knowledge is important and necessary, and knowledge management plays an essential role in creating and maintaining a competitive advantage in the petrochemical industry. Also, petrochemical companies must allocate a budget every year for research and development activities in the field of engineering and knowledge management.
