In this paper, we considered the parametric statistical inference problem on a new Pareto-type distribution under type-II right censored data. The frequentist approaches for estimating the model parameters are developed. Analyses of simulated and real data sets are presented to illustrate the methods developed here and numerical simulation evaluations are performed for comparison purposes.
