In this study, waterborne polyurethane dispersion was synthesized by polyaddition reaction using polyester polyol and toluene diisocyanate in presence of dibutyltin dilaurate (DBTDL) as catalyst. The crosslinking was created between waterborne polyurethane chains to improve rheological, thermal and mechanical properties by the corporation of 1,4 butandiol and hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) as chain extender and crosslinking agents. Several properties of crosslinked waterborne polyurethane were measured by particle size distribution, Gel permeation chromatography (GPC), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), Dynamic mechanical Thermal Analysis (DMTA) and strength testing. Many parameters were investigated such as ratio of NCO:OH, molar ratio of DMPA, BDO, TEA and amount of rate of water addition. Different qualitative tests were firstly performed, then supplementary tests was done at best sample
