زين‌الاخبار نوشته عبدالحي گرديزي، اثر تاريخي و فرهنگي سودمندي در باب پيدايش نخستين حكومت‌ها تا عصر نويسنده است. بخش وسيعي از اين كتاب تاريخ ملت ايران را به‌طور مختصر بيان كرده كه شامل پيدايش اولين فرهنگ‌ها و آداب و رسوم و به عبارتي ديگر بازتاب هويت ايراني است و باورهاي عامه، هويت و فرهنگ يك جامعه شناخته مي‌شود. روش پژوهش حاضر، توصيفي-تحليلي است و داده‌هاي تحقيق به شيوه كتابخانه‌اي فراهم شده است. در اين پژوهش، آداب و رسوم و باورهاي ايراني در تاريخ گرديزي جست‌وجو، بررسي و تحليل شده است و چنين استنتاج شده كه در اثر مورد تحقيق، باورهاي مذهبي مختلف، رسوم فرهنگي-آييني برجسته، آداب درباري و آوردن رسم‌هاي نو و شيوه نام‌گذاري‌ها و سبب و علت آن‎ها بازتاب يافته و اين موارد در پژوهش حاضر تحليل و بررسي شده است.

Zain al-Akhbar written by Abdul Hai Gardizi is a useful historical and cultural work about the emergence of the first governments until the author s era. A large part of this book briefly describes the history of the Iranian nation, which includes the emergence of the first cultures and customs, in other words, the reflection of the Iranian identity, and the popular beliefs, identity and culture of a society. The current research method is descriptive-analytical and the research data is provided in a library manner. In this research, Iranian customs and beliefs have been researched, investigated and analyzed in the history of Gardizi, and it has been concluded that in the researched work, different religious beliefs, prominent cultural-ritual customs, court customs and bringing new customs and ways Names and their reasons have been reflected and these cases have been analyzed and investigated in the present research.
