A review of multivariate process capability and process incapability indices: a case study in the paper manufacturing industry

شاخص هاي قابليت فرآيند جزيي از كنترل كيفيت آماري هستند كه نقش مهمي در تعيين مطابقت فرآيند با مشخصات تعيين شده دارد. شاخص هاي عدم قابليت فرآيند با ايجاد تغيير در شاخص هاي قابليت فرآيند ايجاد و منجر به جداسازي اطلاعات مربوط به صحت و دقت فرآيند مي شود. اين جداسازي اطلاعات براي تعيين كارايي يا ناكارايي فرآيند و تشخيص انحرافات در فرآيندهاي توليدي كه محصولات حساس و پيشرفته توليد مي كنند، بسيار ضروري و مفيد مي باشد. هدف از اين پژوهش، اندازه‌گيري شاخص‌هاي قابليت و عدم قابليت فرآيند چند متغيره براي متغيرهاي فرآيندي در سيستم توليد كاغذ چند مرحله‌اي است و كارايي شاخص هاي مختلف ارائه شده مورد بررسي قرار مي گيرد. نتايج بدست آمده نشان مي دهد شاخص C_pm در بين شاخص هاي قابليت فرآيند، حساسيت بالايي نسبت به خروج فرآيند از محدوده مورد انتظار دارد. همچنين نتايج نشان مي دهند شاخص هاي عدم قابليت فرآيند (MIC_pp^‴ (u,v) و MIC_pp^‴^G (u,v))، عملكرد بهتري از خود نشان مي دهند و اگر خطاي اندازه گيري نيز در نظر گرفته شود، گزارش دقيقي از وضعيت فرآيند ارائه مي كنند.

Process capability indices are a part of statistical quality control that play an important role in determining the compliance of the process with the specified specifications. The process incapability indices are created by changing the process capability indices and lead to the separation of information related to the precision and accuracy of the process. This separation of information is very necessary and useful to determine the capability or incapability of the process and to detect deviations in the production processes that produce High-Tech products. The purpose of this research is to measure the capability and incapability indices of the multivariate process for the process variables in the multi-stage paper production system and the effectiveness of the various indicators provided is investigated. The obtained results show that the C_pm index among the process capability indices has a high sensitivity to the departure of the process from the specified specifications. Also, the results show that the process incapability indices ( MIC_pp^ (u,v) and MIC_pp^ ^G (u,v)) show better performance and if the measurement error is also considered, they provide a detailed report of the process status.
