EVALUATING KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT CAPABILITIES BY APPLYING FUZZY LINGUISTIC METHOD AND RUBRIC MATRIX

Before initiating any knowledge management projects the first and important stage is to identify the preconditions (capabilities) of knowledge management and evaluate these capabilities. Since these capabilities and their components are not well defined we have developed a rubric matrix and applied fuzzy linguistic method respectively to make the results more accurate than before. In this paper as a case study, KMC of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology of University Technology Malaysia is evaluated by applying the rubric matrix and using fuzzy linguistic method.
