دين يكي از اركان مهم فرهنگ ساز مي باشد كه در طول تاريخ در ساختار و تكامل فرهنگ جوامع نقش مهمي ايفا نموده است. فرهنگ مهدويت مي تواند به عنوان يكي از اصول مهم مذهب شيعه، در عرصه فرهنگي- اجتماعي، جامعه شيعي- اسلامي مورد طرح و بسط ويژه قرار گيرد. اين باور مترقي شيعه، آموزه ديني همه جانبه اي است كه ظرفيت گسترده اي براي هدايت ديني- فرهنگي انسان معاصر دارد. در اين بين فرهنگ مهدويت مي تواند ضمن خنثي سازي تلاشهاي پيدا و پنهان ابرقدرت هاي نوين جهان، سعادت و تكامل همه آحاد بشر را در سراسر كره زمين در زير پرچم توحيد و برابري محقق سازد و زمينه تحقق وعده هاي تخلف ناپذير الهي را فراهم نمايد. يكي از مظاهر و پديده هاي فرهنگي و اجتماعي جوامع كنوني ورزش است. اين ورزش و ورزشكاران هستند كه به عنوان الگوهاي جوانان امروزي مي توانند زمينه ساز بسط فرهنگ و تفكرات مهدويت را ايجاد نمايند.

One of the manifestations and cultural and social phenomena of today s societies is sports. These sports and athletes are the role models of today s youth who can create the basis for the expansion of Mahdavi culture and thoughts.
