با بررسي و شناخت تأثير نظريه هاي سه گانه يعني «مخاطب محور، مؤلّف محور و متن محور» در آثار كودكان و نوجوانان مي توان به نتايج مطلوب تري در اثبات ارزشمندي يا ضعف آثار دست يافت .پژوهشگر مي كوشد با بررسي نظريه هاي «متن محوري و مؤلّف محوري» در آثار كودك و نوجوان، اهميّت توجّه به نظريه هاي مذكور را در نقد ادبيات كودك و نوجوان نشان دهد و معتقد است كاركرد نظريه هاي سه گانۀ فوق الذّكر در آثار كودكان و نوجوانان با آثار بزرگسالان تفاوت دارد و اين تفاوت ناشي از ويژگيهاي خاص مخاطب است كه بايد مورد توجه قرار گيرد. روش پژوهش توصيفي_تحليلي و گردآوري داده ها اغلب به روش كتابخانه اي است.
