The fourth generation of Zieglr-nata heterogeneous catalysts is one of the most common catalytic systems in the polymerization of propylene. This generation has MgCl2/TiCl4/phtalate composition, in which, alcohol content of primary adduct (MgCl2.nEtOH) has one of the most important factors affecting polymerization behavior and final polymer properties in terms of catalytic activity, polypropylene (PP) tacticity, and comonomer affinity. This article tries to shed light on these issues
