Hydro-finishing is one of the important reasons to reach high quality of Poly-alpha-olefin oils, which can ultimately improve their oxidation resistance and give better oil transparency. Precious metals are common hydro-finishing catalysts that are placed on various supports. In this study, the heterogeneous hydrogenation catalysts were fabricated on three different mineral supports of alumina, silica, and Boehmite. The catalytic activity of all catalysts was investigated and compared. The 1HNMR results showed that Pd/Boehmite, with a hydrogenation efficiency of 82% has the best catalytic activity, and also by ICP results, the maximum loading of palladium nanoparticles about 1.15% was illustrated
