The main goal in tissue engineering is to design and create a structure similar to the natural structure of a tissue in the body of a living organism, in order to repair injuries and tissue damage. In recent years, rapid advanced in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine has created a new approach to tissue regeneration. Among the types of biomaterials used in tissue engineering, polymers offer a wide range of properties such as plasticity, mechanical properties, and good biocompatibility. In this article, the combination of polycaprolactone(PCL) and type collagen I(Col) was used to prepare a scaffold by electrospinning method. Overall, the PCL 15%/Col 17.5% scaffold with a ratio of (75-25) had a uniform fiber structure suitable for cell studies in tissue engineering.
