One of the novel strategies for promoting gas permeability and separations is incorporating Metal-organic frameworks into the thin layer membrane (TFC). The focus of this study was on investigating the effects of Zif 67 on CO2 separation. Zif 67 was synthetized and applied after the synthetized structure was validated. Then a thin layer of Zif 67 and Pbex was coated on polyether sulfune porous sublayer. The permeabilities for Zif concentrations of 0, 1, 3, and 5 wt% were recorded at gas upstream pressures of 1 to 5 bar. Results showed Zif 67 enhances the permeability about 1.5 times in the case of 1 wt% at the feed pressure of 1 bar. The order of enhancement of permeability as a result of Zif incorporation was 1 3 5 wt% which can be explained by the competition between gas diffusivity and solubility of CO2 through TFC’s containing Zif 67. Results showed a decrease in the permeabilities at higher feed pressures
